## Summary

Erasmus+ is the European Union's mobility programme.
Rather than funding a full degree, it supports study or exchange periods and cost-of-living mobility, and remains a mainstay funding route across EU destinations — especially where a national grant isn't available for your country.

## Eligibility

- Available to students enrolled in a recognised degree at a participating institution; citizenship alone does not create or remove eligibility.
- For study mobility, the home and host institutions need an agreement covering the student's subject. The stay must fit the degree and be recognised through a Learning Agreement.
- Long-term study and traineeship mobility lasts 2–12 months; blended short mobility lasts 5–30 physical days plus a virtual component.

## How to apply

- Apply through your university's international office, which manages Erasmus+ agreements, selection and deadlines.
- Ask for the partner list for your subject, the internal selection rules and the exact grant table for the relevant project year.
- The home institution sets the payable rate within the current country-group and top-up rules; students do not apply directly to the EU.
