Our ethics charter
StudyRoute helps you choose a realistic route to study abroad. These are the rules we hold ourselves to — and that you can hold us to.
No false promises
Admission rules, application processing times, tuition fees and requirements are the same for every applicant. We don't promise guaranteed admission, discounts or a positive visa decision when the university or government authorities themselves can't guarantee it. Our job is to help you choose the most suitable route, avoid common mistakes and prepare for admission as thoroughly as possible.
We don't hold your money
We never receive or hold your tuition, deposits or blocked-account (Sperrkonto) funds, and we never pay fees on your behalf. Any payment to StudyRoute is only for our own analysis or consultation services — never money you owe a university or a government.
The decision is always yours
We don't make the decision for you — we help you make it consciously. We show you the best route, offer alternatives and tell you honestly about the upsides, downsides and possible risks. And the final choice always stays with you.
How StudyRoute uses AI
AI does the matching and the legwork. Every number stays tied to a real source, and the final decision is yours — when you want a human to go through the route with you, that is the live consultation.
The route ranking itself is not a language model. It is deterministic scoring against our own data: the same answers produce the same routes, every run.

The European depth checklist
“We cover a country” is an easy claim. This is what the words actually mean before a destination enters our base — the same checklist for every country we list.
- Tuition recorded per institution with the academic year and a link to the official page it came from.
- English-taught programmes verified against the university's own catalogue, not aggregators.
- Visa and financial-proof rules resolved per citizenship and residence — the same profile can face different rules in the same country.
- Application deadlines taken from the university or national admission portal.
- Alternative entry pathways mapped — preparatory years before the degree (foundation years) and preparatory programmes, not just direct entry.
- Gaps declared as gaps: where a verified figure is missing, we hide the field rather than fill it with a guess.
Today this checklist holds for Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. A country that doesn't pass it yet isn't listed.

Your profile, budget, admission chances and visa likelihood are the only inputs to the match. We recommend the route that genuinely fits you, and every figure behind it names the source it came from.
Paid analysis & consultation packages
Two things are for sale, and you see the price of both before you pay: one-off deeper analyses of your route, and the AI consultant — as a monthly subscription, charged every month and cancellable at any time, or as a single payment with no subscription at all. You pay for our work and our time, not for a better admission chance.
What stays free
The route quiz and your basic route match are free. You can use StudyRoute, get a realistic plan, and apply directly — without paying us anything.
