Lithuanian State Scholarships
Government of Lithuania via Education Exchanges Support Foundation (EESF)
Overview
Lithuanian State Scholarships, funded by the Government of Lithuania through the Education Exchanges Support Foundation (EESF), support international master's students.
The 2026 call pays roughly €592/month plus tuition.
A limited number of grants (about 70) is shared across all eligible countries.
Who can apply
- The 2026 call is master's-degree only.
- Eligible countries include Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Ukraine (Ukraine has a dedicated 20-grant quota); Kyrgyzstan is not on the 2026 list.
- Russian citizens are excluded and most visa/residence applications from Russia are suspended under national sanctions.
- Belarusian citizens are excluded from the standard call — the only route is the SALT III cost-of-living scholarship (€650/month, for students persecuted or threatened by the regime).
