Joint tUL programmes are registered via Studielink under 'Transnationale Universiteit Limburg' but physically taught at Maastricht University. Apply/enquire via dacs-admissions@maastrichtuniversity.nl for AI & Data Science for Decision Making, or Maastricht's Biomedical Sciences office for the Biomedical Sciences track. 2026-2027 institutional fees not yet fully published at time of research — figures shown are 2025-2026.
Accommodation
IMPORTANT: tUL is not a standalone campus — it is a joint Studielink registration framework between Hasselt University (Belgium) and Maastricht University (Netherlands) for 3 MSc programmes (Artificial Intelligence, Data Science for Decision Making, Biomedical Sciences), all taught entirely at Maastricht University's campus. Diplomas carry both university logos. Use Maastricht University's housing/accommodation system.

What to check
- Tuition of €25,100 per year for MSc AI/Data Science is high even by Dutch private-university standards.
- RU students face SWIFT payment blocks to NL — transferring tuition requires intermediary services with added risk.
- tUL is not listed on the main Dutch sector-body registers (VH/UNL), which may complicate employer recognition in some countries.
- Accommodation in Maastricht is tight; dorm availability is unconfirmed and private rent reaches €1,500/month.
- MSc Biomedical Sciences carries a lower tuition (€18,400/yr) but fields in the quiz are listed broadly — check exact programme fit before applying.
